The Valuing the Volunteer scheme was originally a RFU Presidential scheme. It exists to acknowledge the huge amount of work that takes place behinds the scenes to ensure that rugby football gets played at all levels. The Royal Navy Rugby Union receives nominations from across the game within the Naval Service and the awards are usually presented by the RNRU President at the Annual General Meeting.
