It’s a lovely title!. Congratulations to our New Zealand counterparts who have just been crowned Inter Service Champions for 2013.
Having already defeated the New Zealand Army 28-20, the New Zealand Navy side came from behind to beat the Royal New Zealand Air Force 15-13 at Palmeston North, thus securing the Inter Service title. It will give the RNZN team great confidence as thy build for next season’s Commonwealth Navies Cup, which they will host in October 2014. The RNZN, who are the only side who have beaten the RN in the CNRC competition, will know doubt be looking to become the first team to wrestle the trophy from Navy Rugby’s (UK that is- ed!) firm grasp. Congratulations to all our kiwi Navy friends on a great achievement.
