With exactly six months to go the RAF were the first of the three Services to start their domestic fixture list in the lead up to Inter Services 2015.  They chose a good night to travel to Henley!  The conditions certainly effected the quality of the game with Henley winning 26 – 15.  I am sure they will be hoping for a drier track in April, at RAF Halton, when they host the Royal Navy on 15 April 2015 in the opening fixture of the 90th Inter Services Rugby Union tournament.  2015 is also the 21st anniversary since the RAF last won the title in 1994 although they shared the title in 1996.

Also in twelve months time it will be the knock out stages of the International Defence Forces World Cup.  Drier weather would be appreciated.

Not as wet as a RN v RAF game at Plymouth some years ago.
Two Navy frogmen appeared on the halfway line during the interval!!
