With only seconds gone Sharks, through Kyle Wood showed their intent as they skinned Predator’s out wide for the opening score. Josh Jones missed the difficult conversion Greg Welling added a second immediately afterwards and also kicked the conversion for a 12-0 lead. The rest of the half was scoreless in tricky, wet conditions. When they needed to the Sharks showed that their cover defence is beginning to gel. Kyle bagged his second try early in the second half. Closely followed by John Barnett who had an easy run in having forced the turnover. Both converted for a 26-0 lead. Josh Jones was showing some real bite in the tackle and with the wet conditions the Sharks defence was forcing turnovers. It was from another turnover that Josh was rewarded for his alround performance with the last score of the game, which he also converted. Final score 33-0.
