Nathan Huntley makes is first start but too many unforced errors and a lack of commitment at the tackle cost Sharks as St Paul’s Pirates ease to 27-0 victory
Three tries in the first half by St Paul’s were added to by a brace in the second. Too often the Sharks forced a needless pressure pass and with the ball like a bar of soap turned over possession.
The limited ball the Sharks did have was rarely effectively used in what was a surprisingly lack lustre display and Coopz will be particularly concerned that they were bossed at the breakdown. However both sides knew they were through to the quarter finals so hopefully this will be the wake up call the Sharks need before the knockout stages.
