On the eve of the 2013 Autumn Internationals England have honoured Lt Cdr Arthur Leyland Harrison VC RN by introducing an internal team award in his name and memory.  The following appeared in today’s Times.

AL Harrison VC – RFU Award as announced in the Times

(Note the Zeebrugge Raid was 1918 and not 1917 as in Mark Souster’s article)

Thanks so much for publishing Harrison award; I missed it via RFU or Times!
May see you at Devonport/DRAKE next week: CS v BaaBaas?
Just sponsoring RNRURS cyclists bringing balls!

    Hope all well

It was very pleasing to see Stuart Lancaster to choose Harrison for such a prestigious award. His story is quite remarkable. G
